George H. W. Bush
During his presidency, George H. W. Bush served as the forty-first president of the United States from 1989 to 1993. Bush was a member of the Republican Party, and he served as the 43rd vice president of the United States from 1981 to 1989 under Ronald Reagan, while also serving in the U.S. House of Representatives, as United States Ambassador to the United Nations, and as Director of Central Intelligence.
