James A. Garfield
From March to September 1881, James Abram Garfield (November 19, 1831 – September 19, 1881) served as the 20th president of the United States.
Four months into his presidency, Garfield was assassinated and died two months later.
He is the only sitting member of the US House of Representatives who has been elected to the Presidency.
