This print reproduces Pete Souza’s White House photograph of Barack Obama and Michelle Obama dancing in the East Room on February 22, 2009, while Earth, Wind and Fire performed at the Governors Ball. The shop file uses the same date and band as the wider Governors Ball listing. This frame is a closer view of the dance, a second crop from the same evening’s Photo Office coverage.

Both are documentary stills from the first month of the administration, not the 2012 Oval Office camera portrait and not McCurdy’s 2018 Collection oil.
