Description
This print reproduces Bob McNeely’s 1993 White House photograph of Bill Clinton. McNeely was chief official White House photographer from the 1993 inauguration until 1998. The Library of Congress and the Clinton Presidential Library hold his administration pictures. This head-and-shoulders is the camera portrait issued early in the first term, not a painted state picture.
The White House Collection oil listed by the White House Historical Association is Simmie Knox’s 2002 canvas, painted after Clinton left office. That Knox is not this listing. McNeely’s 1993 photograph belongs to the Photo Office record. Clinton took the oath on January 20, 1993. The shop file names McNeely and the 1993 official photograph.
This listing is a contemporary print from the photograph, not a vintage print from the sitting. Choose fine art paper, luster photo paper, or mounted canvas.
